Physical Therapist — Inpatient Hospital (Travel)
Join a hospital team in Hyannis, MA to provide inpatient physical therapy for adult and pediatric patients. The clinician will evaluate patients, set measurable treatment goals, implement and modify treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on discharge planning. The role includes patient and family education, supervision and guidance of PT assistants, aides, and students, participation in departmental quality initiatives, and adherence to safety and infection control standards. Professional development through education, in-services, and workshops is expected.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Current, active Massachusetts physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Experience in inpatient hospital physical therapy preferred.
- Ability to evaluate, plan, implement, and document treatment for adult and pediatric patients.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience supervising PT assistants, aides, or students.
- Experience with hospital quality assessment and safety initiatives.
- Specialist certification if applying for a PT Clinical Specialist role; documentation of specialist certification required for that role.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 07:00–18:00.
- Schedule pattern: Days (per facility schedule).
- Standard hours per week: 40.
