Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required.
- Experience in home health physical therapy required. Must be able to evaluate patients in home settings and develop measurable treatment plans.
- Ability to perform diagnostic muscle, nerve, joint, and functional ability tests and implement appropriate treatment modalities.
- Documentation skills for objective analytic patient records, patient/family education, and interdisciplinary communication.
- Comfort providing guidance to PT Assistants, aides, and students.
- Reliable transportation for travel to patient homes within assigned geographic area.
- Preferred: Specialist certification for PT Clinical Specialist roles and prior experience with pediatric and adult populations.
