Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a home health setting regain or improve daily living skills after injury, illness, or disability while exploring Alpena, MI and surrounding communities.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Michigan OT license required prior to assignment start.
- Home Health experience required. Must have at least 12 months of home health experience within the past 3 years (client-specific requirement).
- Experience with HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR is required (client-specific requirement).
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Ability to work independently in patient homes and manage a geographically dispersed caseload across multiple ZIP codes (territory provided).
- Reliable transportation to travel within the assigned territory.
- Preferred: prior travel OT experience and familiarity with home safety evaluations and durable medical equipment recommendations. These are preferred, not required.
