Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Michigan Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment. LARA and/or Nursys must reflect an active MI PT license.
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
- Required experience: prior Physical Therapist clinical experience. Pediatric experience is required.
- Highly preferred: Acute care experience.
- Profile documentation required at time of submission: current work history, skills checklist pertinent to PT (within 1 year), and two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Multiple Settings (outpatient rehabilitation focus).
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Hours: 7:30 AM–6:00 PM; schedule can be 8 to 10 hour days.
- Schedule Pattern: 4x10 is indicated.
- Weekend Requirement: One Sunday per month.
- Delegation: Position delegates to PT Assistants and aides as appropriate.
- Documentation: Must submit assessments, plans of care, and co-sign PTA verbal orders when necessary.
