Our client, a leading organization in the transportation and autonomous vehicle industry, is seeking a Fleet Support Engineer to join their team. As a Fleet Support Engineer, you will be part of the Vehicle Development department supporting the R&D fleet operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Fleet Support Engineer
Location: Foster City, CA
Pay Range: $83 per hour
What's the Job?
- Serve as the primary point of contact for real-time escalations for R&D fleet issues.
- Conduct in-depth root cause analysis through log review to identify and resolve fleet issues.
- Develop, update, and maintain troubleshooting guides for technicians, incorporating new fault resolutions.
- Perform hardware bring-up and validation procedures for new vehicle components.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance tooling and improve issue detection capabilities.
What's Needed?
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in transportation, aerospace, or autonomous vehicles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- Experience with low/high voltage circuits, UDS, and troubleshooting safety procedures.
- Understanding of hardware and software systems architecture and communication protocols.
- Ability to analyze schematics, electrical diagrams, and connector pinouts effectively.
