Our client, a leader in autonomous mobility, is seeking a dedicated Mapping Technician to join their team. As a Mapping Technician, you will be part of the Mapping Operations team supporting high-fidelity map data delivery across multiple initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mapping Technician
Location: Foster City, CA
Pay Range: $48 per hour
What's the Job?
- Monitor and validate data ingest and orchestration pipelines to ensure smooth processing and escalate issues as needed.
- Perform basic quality assurance to identify errors and systemic issues affecting mapping outputs.
- Provide operational feedback to improve mapping pipelines and identify process gaps.
- Manage releases for multiple concurrent mapping projects, coordinating with stakeholders and adhering to sprint schedules.
- Collaborate with teams on mapping strategies for special locations, including test tracks, depots, and sites with access restrictions.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Experience working in fast-paced, operations-driven environments with evolving priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret spatial data for decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with team objectives.
