This role is perfect for someone with high proficiency in labor and delivery, circulating, and C-sections, who is eager to make a difference in the lives of mothers and newborns.
As an RN Educator in the Family Birthplace Unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring that the nursing staff is well-prepared to provide exceptional care during C-sections. Your expertise will help shape the future of healthcare delivery in this specialized area.
- Provide comprehensive education and training to nursing staff on operating room circulation for C-sections
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare standards and protocols
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care outcomes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in perinatal care and OR procedures
- Utilize Meditech Expanse (preferred) for documentation and training purposes
Requirements for this role include:
- 3+ years of current RN Educator experience in the perinatal field
- Experience in educating circulating in OR for C-sections
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree
- Active Massachusetts RN license
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP (must be in hand at profile upload)
- COVID-19 vaccine (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
- Availability for every other weekend/holiday rotation
- Must have own vehicle for assignment
