Our healthcare partner in Pittsfield, MA, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment. As a Med Surg Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients in a 20 to 34-bed unit. You will be responsible for managing a typical patient ratio of 1:6 and must be willing to float to any Med Surg unit as needed.
- Provide direct patient care in a Med Surg setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Complete a Basic Dysrhythmia course (strongly required)
- Possess Meditech Expanse experience (strongly preferred)
- Hold current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Have a Massachusetts RN license
- Must have a vehicle for assignment
- COVID-19 vaccine (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
