Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- No new graduates. Minimum clinical experience required; must demonstrate competency in outpatient orthopedic evaluations and treatment planning.
- Experience with documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Experience supervising or providing direction for discipline-specific therapy services and participating in student clinical education.
- Ability to follow physician orders, insurance authorization requirements, and clinic policies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior outpatient clinic experience with functional treatment program design for community reintegration.
- Familiarity with performance improvement initiatives and competency-based clinical programs.
- Professional development involvement and evidence of continuing education in physical therapy.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: 5x8 (five 8-hour shifts per week).
- 40 hours per week.
- Must be able to work within clinic guidelines for attendance, appearance, and punctuality.
- May be required to participate in student supervision and professional development activities as assigned.

Provide supervision and direction of discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. Design functional treatment programs to support effective return to community activities.
