Join our team as a traveling Physical Therapist in Lexington, KY where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing a new location. This role focuses on outpatient care with a patient population that includes pelvic health, general orthopedics, post-operative care, vestibular, and gait/balance therapy. Local clinicians within 50 miles may be considered at a local rate. New graduates are not accepted. First-time travelers are acceptable.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Kentucky state physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Outpatient experience preferred.
- Must not be a new graduate. First-time travelers are acceptable.
- Experience treating pelvic health, general orthopedics, post-op patients, vestibular disorders, and gait/balance is preferred.
- Ability to meet productivity expectation of approximately 60 visits per week and to see 12–14 patients per day; follow-up double-booking expected.
- Ability and willingness to float to other clinics as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior outpatient clinic experience with similar patient populations.
- Experience working in multi-clinic systems and willingness to float between clinics when required.
Assignment Details
- Shift name: Days.
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week with expectation to work up to 40 hours.
- OT (overtime) must be approved by the director before any OT hours are worked.
- Float to other clinics within the regional clinic network may be required.
- Patient population includes pelvic health, general orthopedics, post-op, vestibular, and gait/balance.
- Productivity expectation approximately 60 visits per week; typically 12–14 patients per day with double-booking of follow-up visits expected.
