Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing environment regain or improve daily living skills following injury, illness, or disability while experiencing a new location.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
- Experience providing ADL retraining, adaptive equipment recommendations, and discharge planning preferred.
- Client requires availability Monday through Friday schedule; clinician should be prepared to work within facility scheduling and team coordination requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
- Experience with documentation systems commonly used in long-term care and skilled nursing preferred.
- Certified in modalities or specialty training (e.g., dementia care, fall prevention) preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
- Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.
- Guaranteed weekly hours: 35.
- Contract type: Travel contract; clinician may be expected to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
