Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active state Physical Therapist license is required to start the assignment. Candidates without an Iowa license may be considered if they are willing and able to apply for Iowa licensure prior to or upon hire.
- At least 24 months of recent Physical Therapist work history or employment experience is required.
- Minimum 1 year of prior PT experience is required.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
- Outpatient experience is required. Inpatient experience is preferred.
- EPIC electronic medical record experience is required.
- Traveler must be willing to work 4 days in the outpatient clinic and 1 day in acute care per week as scheduled.
- Driver's license is required.
- Skills checklist specific to Physical Therapist discipline is required. Professional reference or performance evaluation within the past 24 months is preferred.
- At least one prior travel contract completed is preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Home Health with outpatient clinic and acute care coverage expected.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Start Time: 0800.
- Schedule Expectation: Work 4 days in outpatient clinic and 1 day in acute care per week.
- Orientation: Weekly, every Monday.
- Weekend/On-call Expectations: Traveler may be asked to work occasional acute weekend shifts. On-call Saturday 0700–1200 and Sunday 0700–1100 may be required when scheduled.
- Floating: Candidate may be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
