Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, produce high-quality diagnostic images, perform equipment quality control, and follow ALARA principles for safe handling and disposal of radioactive materials.
Minimum Requirements
- Certificate or diploma from an accredited Radiologic/Nuclear Medicine Technology program, or an associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
- National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Nuclear Board and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or equivalent. State licensure if required by Arizona.
- BLS certification required.
- Clinical experience typically achieved with 2 years of experience performing nuclear medicine procedures.
- Demonstrated competence in administration of radiopharmaceuticals, sterile/invasive/interventional procedures if applicable, and equipment quality control.
- Ability to perform patient education, maintain accurate documentation, and demonstrate effective communication and human relations skills.
- Preferred: Additional related education and/or additional years of nuclear medicine experience.
