Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Oklahoma physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- One year of clinical PT experience required. New graduates considered if they have completed Level II clinical experience rather than only Level I observation.
- Experience in long term care or skilled rehabilitation settings required.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Ability to perform wound care, standardized assessments, therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, ambulation training, and use of assistive devices per clinical standards.
- Ability to document accurately in electronic medical records and record treatment minutes per regulatory requirements.
- Ability to supervise and support PTAs, rehabilitation aides, or students.
- Adherence to APTA and state practice acts, professional code of conduct, and ethics.
- Preferred: prior experience in skilled nursing facility workflows and participation in care conferences, utilization review, and rehabilitation meetings.
