Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We seek a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in a new location.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active South Carolina Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic practice, with emphasis on upper extremity evaluations and treatments preferred.
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred. Epic OP or orthopedic module experience highly preferred.
- Clinical documentation experience including evaluations, re-evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Ability to develop measurable, functional goals and communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary medical team.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and collaborate with OTAs and support staff.
- Commitment to professional development and maintaining required CEUs for SC LLR.
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential preferred but not required.

Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital (Outpatient setting, primarily orthopedic upper extremity).
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Details: Days 08:00–17:45.
- Role includes patient evaluations, development of individualized plans of care, therapeutic interventions for musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiovascular, and developmental impairments, and thorough documentation.
- Requires collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team members and supervision of treatment team and OTAs.
