This 36-week in-person Speech Language Pathologist position supports students in schools near the location. It offers competitive compensation and benefits while enabling meaningful impact on student learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply school-based speech-language therapy services, aligning with IEP goals and state/district guidelines.
Complete evaluations, interpret results, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
Maintain timely, accurate documentation, including session notes, progress reports, evaluation reports, and Medicaid billing requirements.
Support a positive, inclusive learning environment by delivering services across classrooms, therapy rooms, and other educational settings within district sites.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree (or higher) in Speech-Language Pathology or a closely related field from an accredited program.
Current Oregon SLP licensure (required).
0+ years of experience (new graduates encouraged to apply).
Ability to work in-person across multiple school/district settings within Grant County, OR.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to partner effectively with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to manage a school-based caseload and maintain accurate, timely documentation.
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout school buildings/classrooms.
Ability to lift/carry typical therapy materials as needed.
