Associate Dentist – General Dentistry: Scope of Procedures
The associate will provide comprehensive general dentistry care consistent with the practice's family-focused, quality-first philosophy. Core responsibilities include:
- Preventive & Diagnostic Care — routine exams, cleanings, and oral cancer screenings (standard at every initial visit)
- Restorative Dentistry — tooth-colored (composite) fillings, crowns
- Periodontal Care — diagnosis and treatment of gum disease, treated proactively before elective work is performed
- Endodontics — root canal therapy
- Implant Dentistry — placement and/or restoration of dental implants
- Orthodontics — traditional braces
- Prosthodontics — dentures/general restorative work as needed for family patients
- Preventive/Protective Appliances — athletic mouthguards
