General Dentist (GP) – Elmira, NY

Our well-established private practice in Elmira, NY is seeking a full-time General Dentist to join our team at Chemung Family Dental. We have proudly served the community for over 30 years, providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a busy practice with strong patient demand, modern technology, and a highly experienced team.

Schedule

Monday – Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Duties & Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat dental conditions using evidence-based practices
Perform comprehensive general dentistry procedures
Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff
Uphold all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards

Requirements

DDS or DMD from an accredited program
Active New York dental license
Strong clinical and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to patient-centered care
Dental Sleep Medicine experience is a plus (training available)

Pay & Compensation

Competitive compensation with strong earning potential
Daily guarantee or 30% of collections (whichever is greater) for the first 6 months
After 6 months:
- 30% of collections up to $50,000/month
- 35% of collections over $50,000/month
$10,000 sign-on / relocation bonus
$5,000 CE allowance + professional development support
$3,000 malpractice and annual retention allowance
