Securitas is currently hiring Security Officers and a Mobile Security Supervisor for a professional corporate client site in Franklin, MA. These openings include a consistent weekday daytime schedule, a part-time weekend overnight schedule, and a full-time supervisory opportunity for candidates with relevant security or leadership experience.
These are great opportunities for dependable candidates who are observant, professional, and comfortable working in a structured corporate environment. Previous security experience is helpful for officer positions but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
The ideal candidate is someone who shows up on time, stays alert throughout the shift, communicates professionally, follows post orders, documents activity accurately, and takes pride in helping maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.
Current Openings:
Full-Time Security Officer – Franklin, MA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: $18.60 / hour
Part-Time Security Officer – Franklin, MA
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM
Hours: 16 hours per week
Pay Rate: $18.60 / hour
Full-Time Mobile Security Supervisor – Franklin, MA
Schedule: Full-time; specific schedule will be discussed during the interview process
Pay Rate: $20.21 / hour
Experience: Relevant security, leadership, or supervisory experience required
Other sites and schedules in the surrounding area may also be available. Available openings will be discussed with a recruiter during the interview process.
What You’ll Do:
Access Control and Front Desk Duties
Monitor employee, visitor, contractor, and vendor access to the site. Verify credentials, check identification, maintain visitor logs, and ensure proper entry procedures are followed.
Patrols and Site Monitoring
Conduct routine foot patrols of assigned areas, which may include entrances, offices, common areas, parking areas, exterior areas, and other parts of the property.
Visitor and Employee Assistance
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, contractors, and site personnel. Provide directions, answer basic questions, and assist authorized individuals while maintaining site security procedures.
Camera and Alarm Monitoring
Monitor CCTV, alarms, and other security systems as required. Respond to alerts according to site procedures and escalate concerns when needed.
Incident Response
Respond to alarms, emergencies, safety concerns, access issues, and other incidents in a calm and professional manner. Communicate clearly with site personnel, emergency responders, and Securitas management when appropriate.
Reporting and Documentation
Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, access records, and other required documentation. Attention to detail and basic computer skills are important in these roles.
Post Orders and Safety Procedures
Follow all site-specific post orders, emergency procedures, safety policies, and client expectations. Officers must be comfortable working within established rules and procedures.
Professional Presence
Represent Securitas and the client with professionalism, courtesy, and confidence. Security personnel are often the first point of contact for employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors entering the site.
Leadership and Officer Support – Mobile Supervisor Position
Provide guidance and support to officers, help ensure post expectations are met, communicate important updates, assist with training, and serve as a point of contact for site and branch leadership.

These positions may be a strong fit for candidates with experience in security, customer service, reception, hospitality, military, law enforcement, corrections, retail, office support, or other roles requiring reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail.
The Supervisor position is best suited for someone with prior security, leadership, supervisory, military, law enforcement, or team-lead experience.

Qualifications:
Previous security experience is preferred for Security Officer positions but not required.
Relevant security, leadership, or supervisory experience is required for the Security Supervisor position.
Previous customer service, reception, hospitality, military, law enforcement, corrections, retail, office support, or related experience is a plus.
Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to provide professional and helpful customer service.
Ability to follow detailed post orders and site procedures.
Ability to complete accurate reports and daily activity logs.
Basic computer proficiency is preferred.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond professionally during emergencies or unusual situations.
Ability to stand, walk, patrol, and respond to incidents throughout the shift.
Must be professional, reliable, and able to meet site expectations.
