About the Position
We are currently seeking a Local CDL A Driver. This position involves delivering donation barrels to customer locations within the Kansas City area. Drivers will operate box trucks and trailers, ensuring safe and timely deliveries.
Pay & Schedule Details
- Pay Rate: $25/hour
- Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 6:30 AM to 3 PM
- Hours per Week: 40
Job Details
- License Type: CDL A
- Route Type: Local delivery
- Freight: Donation barrels
- Equipment: Box trucks, 53' or 40' trailers with liftgate
- Handling: Use of an electric pallet jack for loading and unloading
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload donation barrels at customer locations, sometimes requiring assistance with a liftgate.
- Operate box trucks and trailers with automatic transmission.
- Ensure all products picked up throughout the day are unloaded at designated locations.
- Follow all safety protocols during deliveries.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years).
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
