Join a Phoenix, AZ outpatient clinic as a traveling Physical Therapist where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Contract physical therapists will treat outpatient orthopedic injuries in a clinic setting while working in conjunction with a team of therapists. Evaluate and treat patients with various musculoskeletal injuries. Communicate treatment plans and evaluations effectively to medical teams. Report patient progress to in-house doctors and specialty doctors such as orthopedic surgeons and hand surgeons. Provide assistance to center colleagues in identifying issues.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Current, active Physical Therapist license for Arizona required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions in a clinic setting.
- Experience collaborating with physicians, including orthopedic and hand surgeons, and reporting patient progress to medical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous outpatient clinic experience treating orthopedic injuries.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary clinics and supporting colleagues in clinical issue identification.
