Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the relevant professional body.
- Active Arizona state physical therapy license prior to the start of the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings preferred.
- Demonstrated competence in comprehensive patient evaluation, development and modification of treatment plans, and functional outcome-focused goal writing.
- Experience with timely and accurate clinical documentation, including letters of medical necessity and charge entry.
- Ability to supervise and provide instruction to students and support staff.
- Adherence to state practice act, professional codes of conduct, and completion of state-mandated continuing education.
- Commitment to patient and employee safety practices, including safe patient handling and infection control.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel therapy experience preferred.
- Experience with performance improvement initiatives and familiarity with functional quality indicators preferred.
