Join our team as a traveling Physical Therapist in Waterbury, CT, working in an outpatient orthopedic clinic to help patients recover from injuries and manage musculoskeletal conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Contract physical therapists will evaluate and treat patients with various orthopedic injuries, communicate treatment plans and evaluations to medical teams, report patient progress to in-house and specialty physicians, and collaborate with center colleagues to identify patient care issues.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA.
- Current, active Connecticut physical therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience evaluating and treating outpatient orthopedic or musculoskeletal patients.
- Experience communicating treatment plans and patient progress to physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous outpatient orthopedic clinic experience preferred.
- Experience working with orthopedic surgeons and hand surgeons preferred.

- Schedule aligns with Monday through Friday clinic operations, typical business hours.
