What You'll Be Doing
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment including loaders, haul trucks, and support vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Conduct inspections and maintain accurate service records to support compliance and reliability
- Respond to equipment breakdowns in the field and execute timely repairs
- Collaborate with plant operations to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime
What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair heavy mobile equipment systems (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical)
- Strong commitment to safety practices and regulatory compliance
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and reporting systems
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
