Join a traveling Physical Therapist opportunity in Winchester, VA at an outpatient facility where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. This role evaluates patients, develops and implements treatment plans, documents care, participates in student education as assigned, and supports safety and performance improvement initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Virginia state Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Minimum 6 months of outpatient physical therapy experience required.
- Experience with comprehensive patient evaluations, goal writing, and treatment plan development in an outpatient setting.
- Ability to complete timely and compliant medical record documentation, including letters of medical necessity and charge entry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising or mentoring students.
- Prior experience with performance improvement initiatives and familiarity with discipline-specific state practice act requirements.
Assignment Details
- Work schedule includes Monday and Wednesday 9:30 AM–7:00 PM; Tuesday and Thursday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; Friday 7:30 AM–3:00 PM.
