Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to provide timely diagnostic imaging services for inpatient and outpatient populations in Foley, AL. The MRI Technologist will follow radiologist direction and departmental protocols to prepare and position patients, operate MRI equipment, and adjust imaging parameters for studies of soft tissue, arterial systems, brain, spine, joints, and extremities with or without contrast.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. ARRT(MR) required.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year recent MRI experience; client requires 1+ years recent MRI experience.
- Experience performing MRI studies of soft tissue, arterial system, brain, spine, joints, and extremities, including use of contrast media.
- Preferred: Graduate of an accredited AMA school and state licensure as a general radiographer.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registry (MR) through ARRT preferred when not considered required by the client.
- Experience working in freestanding emergency department or hospital radiology settings preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM.
- Workdays: Monday through Friday.
