Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Sacramento, CA at an outpatient clinic. Provide evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services, and design functional programs that support patients returning to community activities. Serve as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers. Maintain professional standards, comply with confidentiality and organizational codes of conduct, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- No new graduates. Minimum of prior clinical experience in outpatient physical therapy is required.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Demonstrated ability to complete comprehensive evaluations, develop measurable goals, and document treatment, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and clinic policies.
- Experience supervising or providing direction for students and/or other therapy staff preferred.
- Knowledge of state practice act, professional code of conduct, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in outpatient settings with focus on return-to-community functional outcomes.
- Experience with competency-based programs and performance improvement initiatives.
