Physical Therapist — Travel Opportunity in Macon, GA (Hospital)
Join a clinical team in Macon, Georgia, providing inpatient rehabilitation services for a range of diagnoses including CVA, amputee care, orthopedics, debility, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, and fractures. The department maintains a caseload of approximately 6–9 patients per therapist per day. The team includes experienced therapists, rehab technicians, and a therapy manager. Clinicians will document in EPIC and will float between floors/units as needed. Orientation includes NEO plus 2–4 days of departmental training depending on relevant experience. Parking is available. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Georgia PT license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification required from AHA or ARC.
- Ability to evaluate and treat patients with diagnoses listed above and to work independently with minimal oversight.
- Experience working in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care preferred. First-time travelers will be considered with relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience preferred.
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.

- Shift: Day.
- Standard hours per week: 40.
- Floating: Yes. Clinicians may float between floors/units.
- Orientation: NEO plus 2–4 days departmental orientation depending on experience.
