Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Westminster, MD. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility regain or improve daily living skills following injury, illness, or disability. This role offers the opportunity to practice in a supportive care environment while experiencing a new community.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Maryland Occupational Therapy License required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute settings preferred.
- No new graduates. Previous clinical experience as a licensed OT is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ADL retraining, wheelchair assessment, splinting, and cognitive rehabilitation preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records used in post-acute care preferred.
