Join our travel Physical Therapist team where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. You will plan and execute rehabilitation programs using therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, gait training, manual techniques, and other interventions. Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills are required to motivate patients and provide compassionate care.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA.
- Active Illinois Physical Therapist license required. Candidates with a permanent address within a 50-mile radius of the facility will not be considered.
- Minimum 1+ years of Physical Therapy experience. Inpatient experience is required.
- Active American Heart Association BLS (AHA) certification required.
- Work history and skills checklist current to 1 year, pertinent to Physical Therapy, required.
- Two supervisory reference forms completed with dates employed listed required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising physical therapy assistants.
- Strong experience administering a wide range of physical therapy techniques.
Assignment Details
- Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (8-hour days).
- Willingness to work 4x10 schedules as needed.
- 40 hour guarantee.
- Weekend requirement: No weekends.
- Must be willing to assist facility staff as needed and maintain documentation in compliance with facility and payer requirements.
