WHAT YOU’LL DO
· Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments to identify strengths and areas of need related to sensory processing, fine motor skills, self-care, emotional regulation, play, and
functional independence.
· Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that support participation in daily routines, functional activities, and age-appropriate independence skills.
· Provide direct occupational therapy services in individual and small-group settings within a multidisciplinary environment.
· Collaborate closely with BCBAs, RBTs, speech-language pathologists, caregivers, and other interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated care and consistency across treatment
settings.
· Support clients in developing fine motor, visual motor, sensory regulation, self-help, feeding, play, and adaptive living skills to increase independence and participation in meaningful activities.
· Implement sensory-based strategies and environmental modifications to support regulation, attention, transitions, engagement, and participation during therapeutic and daily activities.
· Provide caregiver coaching and education to promote carryover of therapeutic strategies and skill development across home, school, clinic, and community settings.
· Monitor client progress through ongoing data collection, clinical observations, and reassessment, modifying intervention plans as needed to support functional outcomes and goal attainment.
· Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, including evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and required billing or authorization documentation in accordance with
organizational and regulatory requirements.
· Adhere to professional, ethical, and legal standards while participating in ongoing professional development and interdisciplinary collaboration to support high-quality clinical care

QUALIFICATIONS
The minimum qualifications:
· 2 years of experience working with children with developmental disabilities including autism
· 1 year of experience overseeing and training staff
· Ability to work independently as well as with a multidisciplinary team
· Valid Occupational Therapist credential/license
· Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be asked for proof upon hire. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
