An exciting permanent opportunity has opened for an experienced Ultrasound Technologist (also known as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) with an area healthcare client where you’ll use your expertise to operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high quality images that are used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
- BLS Certification.
- Experience with general ultrasound required. Vascular and Cardiac/Echo modalities are preferred. Candidates with multi-modality skills may be eligible for additional compensation.
- Comfort working in a rural hospital setting and within a small-town community.
- Ability to participate with radiologists and physicians by contributing technical and professional knowledge, follow exam protocols, review pathology/surgical/delivery reports as appropriate, and apply clinical judgment in imaging procedures.
- Willingness to work Days; typical schedule M-F.
- Open to relocation candidates eligible for sign-on and relocation assistance per hiring client policy.
