Minimum Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid Florida Physical Therapist license required prior to start.
- Acute care experience required.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in inpatient physical therapy or acute care hospital settings preferred.
- Meditech EMR experience preferred.
- ICU experience preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital (253-bed acute care with a 20-bed inpatient rehab unit).
- Unit: Inpatient Physical Therapy, floors 1-4 in the main hospital building.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Details: Days 0800-1630.
- Typical patient load: Approximately 9–10 patients per day (75% productivity standard).
- Typical equipment: Mobility equipment.
- EMR: Meditech.
- May work collaboratively with PT, OT, and SLP day shift staff.
