Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in home health settings in Wallingford, CT.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Connecticut Occupational Therapy license or ability to obtain license prior to start.
- Home Health experience is required.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Minimum education requirement: Bachelor's degree.
- Ability to travel within coverage areas and perform patient visits across assigned towns.
- Professional certification required as noted by the client.
- Preferred: experience with documentation systems used in home health and prior travel or per diem home health experience.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Home Health.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Shift Schedule: Monday through Friday.
- Weekly Hours Guarantee: 32 hours.
- On-call/Weekend Requirement: No.
- Mileage reimbursement provided between visits, from first patient to last patient.
- Coverage Areas: Positions covering Milford, CT and surrounding towns, and Waterbury, CT and surrounding towns. Candidates must be able to travel within assigned coverage areas.
- Dress Code: Business casual or scrubs.
