Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active California Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC required or must be obtained prior to start.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. This client prefers candidates with post-acute rehabilitation or SNF caseload experience.
- Ability to manage a typical SNF caseload, including evaluations, plan of care development, therapeutic interventions, and documentation per facility policy.
- Comfort working with older adult populations and common comorbidities seen in skilled nursing environments.
- Reliable transportation for commute to facility and occasional off-site community outings as part of therapy planning, if required.
