Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT in Tucson, AZ. We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide home health services that help patients regain or maintain daily living skills while experiencing a new location.
Minimum Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy required.
- Current, active Arizona Occupational Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- Proof of current CPR certification required.
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation and personal auto insurance required for home health visits.
- Minimum two years of experience as an Occupational Therapist in acute care or rehabilitation settings required.
- Ability to perform clinical assessments, prepare and revise Plans of Care, document progress notes, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams as part of home health practice.
- Ability to fabricate and maintain adaptive equipment and hand splints, and to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of OT equipment.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role including prolonged standing, walking, lifting, bending, pushing and pulling.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally for patient visits.
- Preferred: Experience specifically in home health environments and/or skilled nursing transitions. Preferred: Additional certifications related to adaptive equipment or home safety assessment.
