Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Texas Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred; candidate must be comfortable performing 60-minute evaluations and follow-up treatment sessions.
- Demonstrated ability to complete thorough evaluations, develop measurable goals, and document care in compliance with state, federal, and payer guidelines.
- Ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants or other discipline-specific staff as needed.
- Maintain professional licensure and complete state-mandated continuing education requirements.
- Preferred: experience with functional outcome measures, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in electronic medical records.
