Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA.
- Active Texas Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Clinical experience treating outpatient orthopedic, musculoskeletal, or post-acute rehabilitation populations preferred.
- Experience with functional outcome measures, documentation of goals, and writing letters of medical necessity preferred.
- Competence in patient handling, safe mobility training, and use of common outpatient equipment (theraband, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise equipment) preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, complete timely documentation, and manage individual and group treatment sessions.
