OBJECTIVE: To ensure the successful sale, distribution, and retail execution of our products and related programs resulting in the overall volume growth of the accounts within the assigned territory. This individual will be responsible for developing new business in current no-buy accounts along with maintaining an existing account list.
SALARY: This position offers a base salary of $42,000 to $49,000 per year.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Develop exceptional rapport with assigned customer base and new accounts,
- Ensure that all product is rotated and code policy is followed,
- Successful sale, distribution and placement of products,
- Proper merchandising of accounts with permanent and paper POS,
- Effective accounts receivable collections within corporate credit policy,
- Know and practice 100% compliance with all New York State Liquor Authority laws and directives at all times,
- Conduct promotions in accounts on a regular basis or when required,
- Develop new accounts and new points of distribution,
- Organize and execute placement of window neons and banners at all accounts,
- Handle customer inquiries regarding credit, delivery, product information and other inquiries as they arise,
- Execute monthly goals as related to business activities,
- Maintain a regular schedule of weekly appointments with accounts in assigned area,
- Develop and maintain effective customer relations,
- Possess a highly competitive sales approach and passion for the beer industry,
- Other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with an emphasis in marketing, sales and management or equivalent experience,
- Certified Beer Server,
- Excellent oral and written communications skills,
- Valid and clean driver's license with active auto insurance,
- Ability to travel to different locations throughout the day, every shift
- Ability and willingness to work independently.
