About the Role
The Treatment Foster Care Clinician is responsible for working with children and youth in the TFC program to assess needs, develop service and treatment plans, provide therapy, and deliver clinical interventions as necessary. This role supports youth with serious behavioral, emotional, or medical needs in a family-based placement setting and collaborates closely with foster parents, caseworkers, and families to ensure individualized, goal-oriented care. The clinician serves as a key member of the TFC Treatment Team, monitoring progress and supporting discharge planning while also participating in a broader clinical team with access to ongoing supervision and training.
Responsibilities
· Assess children and youth in the Treatment Foster Care program
· Develop individualized service and treatment plans
· Provide therapy and clinical interventions as needed
· Collaborate with foster parents, caseworkers, and biological families to establish treatment goals
· Monitor treatment progress and adjust plans as necessary
· Participate as an active member of the TFC Treatment Team
· Support discharge planning and readiness assessments
· Maintain clinical documentation and ensure compliance with program standards
· Participate in clinical team meetings, training, and supervision
· Provide crisis intervention and trauma-informed care
Required Qualifications
· Licensed in Idaho as LMSW, LPC, LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT
· Knowledge and experience utilizing psychological theories
· Ability to pass background checks, including Enhanced Fingerprinting with Idaho Department of Health and Welfare
· Strong clinical, communication, and collaboration skills
