Minimum Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program. For licensure prior to 2016, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is acceptable. Licensure from 2016 onward requires completion of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required prior to start of assignment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist in hospital, rehabilitation, or ambulatory/outpatient settings required.
- Orthopedic physical therapy experience required.
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in patient assessment, plan-of-care development, goal setting, documentation, and outcome evaluation.
- Experience supervising PTAs according to organization policy and state regulations preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital (Outpatient physical therapy clinic).
- Shift: Days.
- Shift hours: 08:00–16:30.
- Assignment start: June 2026; 13-week assignment.
- Setting includes outpatient clinic duties with periodic expectations to coordinate with hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives.
