Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT with Jackson Therapy Partners. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living skills while exploring a new location.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapy License required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience evaluating and treating patients with physical, cognitive, emotional, or psychosocial deficits, including development and implementation of individualized plans of care.
- Experience assessing and training patients in independent living skills and discharge planning, including adaptive equipment recommendations.
- Experience supervising certified occupational therapy assistants and therapy technicians according to practice standards.
- Preferred: Prior hospital-based experience, preferably in acute care or inpatient rehabilitation settings.
