Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA.
- Active Oklahoma State Physical Therapy License is required to start the assignment.
- One year of PT experience is required. New graduates are considered only if they have Level II clinical experience beyond Level I observation.
- Required experience in long term care or rehabilitation settings.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Ability to perform evaluations, develop and adjust plans of care, document accurately in electronic medical records, and record treatment minutes per regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated competence with therapeutic interventions common in LTC/rehab, including manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercise, assistive devices, modality use, and wound care.
- Ability to supervise and support PT assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students.
- Ability to participate in required meetings, trainings, and in-services.
- Preferred: prior experience with electronic documentation systems and participation in utilization review or rehab meetings.
