Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate radiation detection and imaging equipment, perform PET and conventional nuclear medicine studies, follow radiation safety protocols, and document procedures in the electronic medical record.
Minimum Requirements
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology or related field.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT(N) required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Current state license to practice nuclear medicine in Nebraska as required.
- Experience with GE Discovery 630 (dual head) and GE PET 8 or equivalent PET and gamma camera systems preferred.
- Experience using EPIC and PACS/McKesson charting and imaging systems preferred.
- Ability to comply with client radius rule: candidate must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility and may not be currently employed full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit (including CHI or Dignity).
- Driver’s license required at submittal for radius verification.
- Willingness to follow facility policies including fingernail/artificial nail policy (artificial nails prohibited in patient care areas).
- Orientation requirement: up to 12 hours of orientation.
- Preferred: additional ARRT credentials such as RT(R), CT, or MR.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital.
- Shift: Days.
- Shift hours: 0700–1500 (typical schedule).
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, no weekends, no call for Nuclear Medicine.
- Orientation: 1–3 shifts departmental orientation; 12 orientation hours noted.
- Charting system: EPIC.
- Radiation badge provided by client.
- Floating: XR/CT licensed techs may float to XR/CT; MRI/NM techs with additional licenses may float per department need.
- Standby/response: department may require a 30-minute response time for standby where applicable.
