Become a vital part of Jackson HealthPros’ team as an experienced CT Tech. You will accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment for a hospital in Gainesville, GA.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years CT Technologist experience.
- Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology.
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography or ARRT (R) with CT post-primary preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience performing contrast-enhanced CT studies and following contrast safety protocols.
- Proficiency with multi-slice CT scanners and experience with PACS image workflow.
- Ability to work in an acute hospital setting, including trauma and emergency CT exams.
- Must be able to perform patient positioning, IV contrast administration, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Preferred: Advanced cardiac or vascular CT experience. Preferred: Experience with dose-reduction techniques and patient radiation safety practices.
