Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA.
- Active Maryland Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC may be required prior to or upon hire.
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic or general outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
- Ability to perform 60-minute evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Competence in clinical documentation, goal writing, functional outcome measures, and charge entry in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and delegate to therapy assistants and provide student supervision when assigned preferred.
- Adherence to state practice act, maintenance of professional licensure and completion of required continuing education.
