Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology Technologist and use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensure image quality, monitor patients during procedures, and follow department protocols to support timely interpretation and patient care.
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years of Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures technologist experience with references. Clinical experience in a hospital interventional suite preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent diploma/certificate.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography required. Advanced specialty certification (eg, interventional radiography) required or obtained within 18 months if applicable.
- State radiologic technologist license for Arizona prior to start.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Demonstrated competence in invasive/interventional procedures, administration of approved medications/radiopharmaceuticals, and equipment quality control.
- Ability to lift and assist patients as required by department physical demands, including occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Effective communication, patient education, and teamwork skills. Must maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to radiation safety policies.
- Preferred: Additional related education or Cath Lab experience.
