Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active Florida Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
- Minimum 1 year of current experience in hospital acute care, inpatient rehabilitation (IP Rehab), or skilled nursing facility (SNF).
- Ability to work varied day shift hours as needed by the unit.
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
- DPT preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital, 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit.
- Shift name: Days.
- Shift hours: 08:30–17:00.
- Weekend requirement: One weekend per month with weekdays off to balance.
- On-call: No.
- Typical patient populations: Orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general med/surg inpatient care.
- Unit equipment: Treatment beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, exercise bikes.
- EMR: Meditech.
