Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Florida PT license required to start the assignment.
- Current BLS (AHA or ARC) required.
- Minimum 1 year of recent hospital acute care, inpatient rehabilitation (IP Rehab), or skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience.
- Ability to work varied day shift hours and participate in a rotation that includes one weekend per month, with weekdays off provided to balance schedule.
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
- DPT preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Hospital — Inpatient Rehabilitation unit (42-bed IP Rehab).
- Shift: Days.
- Shift hours: 0800-1630.
- Typical staffing: Day shift includes Director, Lead PT, 4–5 PTs, 5–6 PTAs; no night shift.
- Weekend requirement: one weekend per month, compensated with weekdays off.
- Must be able to provide care for orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general med/surg inpatient populations.
