Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Active Georgia SLP license required to start the assignment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA or ARC).
- Minimum of 15–18 months of recent acute care SLP experience required.
- Experience supporting acute care patients across medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU and stroke/neurologic populations preferred.
- Proficiency with MBS/FEES is a plus but not required.
Assignment Details
- Facility Type: Hospital.
- Shift Name: Days.
- Schedule: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (varies).
- Shift Pattern: 5x8.
- Weekend Requirement: Minimum 2 weekends per 4 weeks; preferred 4 weekends per 4 weeks.
- Required Certifications: BLS.
- Floating: Candidate may be required to float within the hospital system as needed.
- Experience Requirement: Minimum 15–18 months recent experience within specialty.
